The Can Do Assembly Solutions Team recently helped bring Dash Baby & Kids Op Shop & Exchange to life. Situated in Clayfield, Brisbane DASH is a sustainable baby & kids clothing and accessories store that helps the community reduce the impact of fast fashion on the environment whilst providing parents with a cheaper solution to provide for the needs of their children.
Given that DASH is all about repurposing, the brief was to fitout the store using mainly second hand shelving, furniture and fittings they had repurposed from their community without sacrificing functionality. We modified, positioned and secured a large amount of pieces together to come up with the end result which included approximately 50 hanging racks, a counter and sorting area and multiple display shelves for all kinds of Knick Knacks.
Not your typical fit out but one that we loved, it was great to see something old become useful and new again! Be sure to check them out if you are ever in Clayfield!
